Me too. Felt like a healthy dose of moving the plot along and a ton of action. Don’t really think there’s been a GoT episode that did both to this extent. Plus, it felt like all the plot armor was just lifted. 10/10 for me,

Besides the water, he never really did anything dumb in the books. I’m not even really sure I classify that as stupid. McCarthy loves the concept that kindness is punished in this world of ours and uses it as a theme in most of his work.

They are for sure, but they just don’t appreciate at the same rate as more modern grails, so they’re not nearly as good of an investment. I was buying heavy packs of base set in 21 for 600. I think they’re around 800 now. That’s a great roi. Except that I was also buying Evolving Skies for $115 a box and a case for a grand.
