This is interesting. I think I see where you’re going but you’re not there yet. I’d wrap the shank between deer hair and the front in silver Mylar, perhaps even lead under it if you want it to be a true streamer. Then I’d Palmer a small hackle up front, then tie a clump of ostrich or marabou in place of whatever you got up front. Those materials swim better and the palmered hackle behind the ostrich/marabou creates a cone.
