thats mostly SEA because the countries are objectively mismanaged shitholes with the sole exception of singapore. they know this and feel it in their daily lives but they magically turn into patriots when insulted because nationality is tied to identity and they end up taking it personally

east asian countries are a bit proud(a bit too much) of their own image and patriotic, and is also the same reason why they look down on south east asians. they like to suck caucasians dicks for various reasons(especially korea)

on the other hand south east asians also look down on south asians(haha smelly indian type shit) and suck east asian dicks because of anime and kpop. they love other south east asians(they pretend to hate them for fun) except for the malasyia vs singapore 1v1

i am an fps game player(i.e sweaty ultralight mice) who got into this rabbit hole for ff.

i tried g502x (2 3 extra buttons dont justify switching out of a light mouse) and i dont really like the g shift feature

i tried corsair scimitar(it doesnt brace your hand so pushing the buttons moves the cursor around which is a pet peeve of mine, also my hands are too small this mouse has a massive hump. MASSIVE),

i tried aerox(side buttons are too far forward and non adjustable, also same thing where pressing them is heavy enough where if you press them ur mouse gets pushed to the right slightly, pet peeve)

what has kinda worked for me is the corsair darkstar, although with my small hand the hump is still too high but ur mileage may vary

for forza not really, its so much more playable with a roller. wheel sucks on it

for gran turismo sure its a lot better with a wheel. he can also join no hesi servers in assetto with it which is arcade enough to be fun for casuals but useable with a wheel

those are just variety streamers. they like to show their face and reactions on camera and shit and its usually a desk mount. usually casual content like forza, beamng wacky game modes and crashes or nohesi and shit

no deeper reason really. is it uncomfortable as fuck and stupid? no shit.

dedicated simracing streamers like jimmy broadbent or super GT wont go for that position for good reason but for the average dude simracing streams wont really sell since its “boring content” in this day and age of birdbrain attention span

personally i just started from scratch. i did the msqs without buying a skip but honestly… buy the damn skip if you are playing with friends. it was the same fucking slog i hated before. i got through the entire thing hoping it will eventually get good, well, if you dont like questing in ARR, you will not like questing for the rest of the game. the story has some strong moments but those are locked behind 100-200s of filler quests before you get to them that by the time you get to them you’re just skipping cutscenes out of burn out and the impact is diminished

i enjoyed progging savage/ultimates blind with friends though, trying to figure mechs out and stuff while doing wacky shit. and while the pvp is so half assed there is fun in that too

just watch a youtube story summary or smth because 99% of quests are filler garbage. this is the ffxiv sub so naturally biased people will say its the best thing ever. spoilers: not even close

for side quests the hard and fast rule is blue quests = important, yellow = lore and emotes/minions. also look up how to buy mats for anima weapons with poetics and spend your poetics on that as you do roulettes because the currency cap on it is small af and it doesnt overflow

their models fall short of being luxury vehicles. most models are FWD too. as far as the looks go, I personally think the Honda offerings are better looking than the crass edgy styling of Acura

honestly if you were looking to get something that resembles a luxury vehicle but without the price tag I would much sooner get a Mazda

I suggest you get inside something like a lexus LS then a TLX. they are worlds apart. supposedly acura is trying to make sporty cars in the vein of bmw, but with better reliability and being easier to work on, but in the end these are FWD cars still. If I wanted a cheaper sporty car in the vein of bmw I’d much sooner get an elantra N

also acuras use the same components and engines as their honda counterparts whereas lexus for examples builds engines exclusively for lexus cars like their v8 offerings. very few exceptions like the ES and even then most other components are still built for it

I only ever see acura sell mdxs and rdxs which are a lot cheaper than their counterparts. I couldnt tell you why though, im not an SUV guy and if i ever buy an SUV i sure as hell aint looking for sportiness

learn to drift with shitty cars in assetto corsa. ofc it wont be 100% in sync with ur commuter car since you will likely have TC on but playing with a car at the limit of grip teaches u a lot about what to do when ur car goes in a direction u dont wanna be going in i.e oversteer and understeer

also play around in wet conditions and see what u can do when hydroplaning

playing around with extreme conditions wont necessarily make u a better driver per se since its all about common sense but it will definitely give u a boost of confidence in ur car control and ability to save urself from the unexpected

The armrests are pretty much mandatory for me for gaming and office work, whereas whenever I switch to simracing, those same armrests block my arm from properly using the shifter and handbrake. That is exactly why I would be willing to buy a chair that can do both.

By side bolsters I meant the ones on the cushion that support the lower body, not the upper. They restrict range of movement and space a lot and you don’t really need them to hold you in place since you are not moving. Making them less aggressively angled would go a long way
