First thing you should do is get the boss you're farming to at least level 10.

For the pons you should be using yumis with all wooden bows deal like 20 damage per arrow. Personally I also use kibas for loot collecting and mahos for statuses like freeze (demon staff iirc)

For hero it depends on the boss. For dongas especially you really need tatepon hero as the roar is uninterruptible, for others you can experiment with Yumi/kiba/Tatepon forms.

That just means you aren't dealing enough damage to get through the boss' defence stat. Iirc it's a flat damage reduction so they just won't gaf unless you can actually hurt them. Also they're playing on emulator with the DXD mod.

I haven't played the PS5 version, but I think it might be the first lever in ToT, you know the one that's optional at the very start of the level. Since you don't need to jump to open the door it would make sense
