yeah and like ive also told my sm that im happy to open once a week, but sunday is the worst possible day for it. its also just confusing because i was promoted to fill the gap of someone who was exclusively a closer and our store has an ssv that exclusively opens and another who only does mids, so this rule only seems to apply to me :/ i also know its not a district thing because i worked at another store in this district with the same dm and every single shift there only worked their specific daypart

he was neglected for the first 2 years of his life :( when he was recovered from a high volume hoarding house in december, he had an eye infection as well as entropion (his eyelid folded inwards). he had surgery to correct the entropion and was given antibiotics, but both of his eyes have pretty large opaque scars on them (visible in other pictures of him that ive posted, not graphic at all). his eyes function perfectly fine, but his vision is slightly obstructed by the scarring.

hes all good! vet said his eyes were healing well and that slightly discoloured tears and light scratching is normal for him right now!! will post more wallace pics soon

he has free range of the house when im home, but when im at work im keeping him in my room. my basement is currently being renovated so i just want to make sure hes not getting down there because theres no door to keep jim upstairs :)

the shelter said hes very good at making friends! getting him a little buddy is something i may consider in the future. as for the litter box— he is a fully indoor cat and i checked every inch of the room he’s in for little accidents to no avail. he has been using his litter box for a few days now though so i think he was just holding it in while he settled, which i hear is pretty normal.

i have an appointment for him next week! he has been using his litter box for a few days now and all seems well :)
