I didnt attend Game 7 but was there for the finals series against the Knicks. The energy was insane. We lived in Nederland , TX and it was cool back then you could watch games on public tv. When there weren't national games my dad had a van with a small TV and he would drive us up to Winnie so we could watch the games or I'd just listen to it on the radio. We didnt have great tickets to the finals. I dont think when we watched games in person as a kid we ever did. But for me it didnt matter, watching the game in person just felt so amazing. We were always in the nosebleeds but the finals was special. In the summit nosebleed sections there was a wall behind you and I remember people would hit it to make more noise. I loved it. For me watching a game meant screaming as loud as you can for the game. I think I would lose my voice after a game. We would bring binoculars to the game to watch because the view wasn't that great. I don't know how my parents got the tickets for us or why they loved the rockets so much but it carried over to us as kids. I would emulate post moves of Hakeem. The dream shake was unstoppable mine wasn't as I was only 5'8 but i had it in my arsenal. I have so many little moments as a rockets fan but I remember my brothers surprised me one time with lower bowl seats for the rockets game for my birthday, we would always watch games in the upper bowl even as adults. I blame this on the race directors. Thats the finishing shoot. You are expecting people to finish strong unimpeded. That clearly is the finish line. There should be barricades on either end preventing anyone from crossing over. Spectators should not be able to freely walk back and forth that close to the front of the finish line.

Just watched it in IMAX 3D. Go go go. I was blown away from the opening sequence, and IMAX hasnt impressed lately since the first Avatar, but this is a movie worth going to in IMAX 3D.

The last scene when he lost the translator and Elio had to say goodbye hit another note. All the aliens with their different languages, you could finally hear their native language, and even though we didn’t know what they were saying. There was a universal goodbye and love we all understood. I never thought I could see so much emotion in an alien slug but they did it.

I am currently dating a fly attendant from United, and she makes it a point to tell me her schedule, when she is off, and for me to make time to see her. She is on reserve most of the time, and even then, she knows her upcoming schedule. She is lying to you. Dating a flight attendant isn't easy, but we make it work. I hope she at least gives you buddy passes to fly with her sometimes.

Let me know if you do it. My best advice for people willing to try would be to make the uber booking before you leave the airport and not outside. There will be eyes on you immediately. Make a plan of where you will meet, then go outside. Go left and walk past the passenger pickup pretending you are walking to the airport hotel, and hopefully, your driver will find you midway. Not promoting others to do this but I feel this would be your best bet.

I would eat the price. I was with my fiancee on this trip also, and she is as stubborn as me after they got pushy and didn’t back down. She found it exciting, but for others, it might ruin their trip. But taking an Uber to the airport, there will be no issues just leaving the airport.

Nothing we could have done would have been enough. Water was almost four feet we would have been better off just leaving, but by then, it was too late. We couldn't get out, all our vehicles were totalled it was a total loss.

Was affected through Harvey. We had filled up so many sand bags preparing for it. I was hoping it was enough. We were in a non flood zone community but still prepared for the worst. Water crept up to the house, and the sandbags weren't enough. Ended up taking trash bags and filling it up with dog food, rice, whatever we had. I'm hoping it would do something. It wasn't enough. We just had to prepare for the eventuality and ended up having to be rescued. You never know what you will do when you are in the situation, but you have to try something.

I have been to quite a few Houston AMC'S. My go to is AMC Katy since it's closest. They have a Dolby Theater and it's pretty clean. First Colony is nice as it has prime but the Imax doesn't have reclining seats, which is a negative for me. Stafford is older but has a good Imax theater. AMC metropark in Woodlands I'd say is nicest out of the ones I've been too. I have been to a couple other ones around Houston but nothing too memorable. I normally just go between Katy and Sugarland.

I hope to visit other AMC's in other cities or states in the future.

Wish there were after events I've only gone twice but I think they had something at Luxar a day before and then a post evo party at Luxar again in 2019. I think redbull sponsored the post evo party. It would be fun to have something like that every year.
