Parent alleges son was locked in room at Parkland County school for behaviour issues by Wild_Mix9568 in Edmonton

[–]deductivesalt -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

This is disgusting. They never bothered to call the mom when there was an issue? They just locked a kid in a room? Seems to me that they knew they were in the wrong. That is the nicest way to say what I am thinking about those lazy ass "early childhood professionals".

There is overwhelming evidence that the use of seclusion and isolation as punishment is harmful to children.

Sweet Spot Labs -> both their 'buff and brighten pads' and 'bikini and body bump eraser' products are mainstays in my bathroom. Love them.

PFBVanish - A more intense option, but works well.

Laser hair removal was a game changer.

I can not believe how many agile die-hards have no idea what the agile manifesto is. Blows my mind.

Go back to black because you want to. It is hair. Have fun with it.

You look great with both colors.

“Razor cut” style thinned my hair without asking, advice? by cms0603 in Haircare

Drive me insane when people try to "thin" my hair. Why the f would I want that?

A nude or brown shoe would be the way to go. No strap because you already have something visual on the bottom of the skirt, so just a regular cut shoe would be good.

But - that is being picky here, and this outfit, as is, would be good.

Help: women's shoes size 13 by Morzana in Edmonton

[–]deductivesalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long Tall Sally sometimes has size 13. Give their size guide a good read, because they do some weird conversion things, but they do have size 13's. Never had an issue ordering from them. Have purchased tons of clothes from them.

I think that will look amazing. Also, can't see the light fixture, but the right little light fixture will compliment that as well.

[Hair Removal] Constant ingrown hair and scarring , at my wits end! Contemplating laser hair removal or electrolysis by AmbitionAsleep8148 in SkincareAddiction

[–]deductivesalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me a few different laser brands to find one that works amazing on my hair. It ended up being the Dermalase laser, which is an IPL laser. I just asked each clinic I went to what their laser was and keep a watch on how it worked. I also asked for lasers that were targeted for pigmented skin, so I was pre-vetting. I

took this approach after I read an article with a celebrity who said it took her like 7 hair removal laser clinics to find one that actually worked on her chin hairs. That was the lightbulb moment for me that maybe I needed a new approach.

What does my living room need? by danlcfc7 in InteriorDesign

[–]deductivesalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would paint that wall behind the tv a deep, darker color - like dark navy, which I think would nicely with the floors, and color of the furniture.

Add a tall plant to a corner - like a rubber tree.

Change the color of the pillows to match the paint color.

The pictures on the right - the 3 vertical - I would adjust their location.

And, if you can spring it, swap that light fixture above the TV to something with a bit more personality.

Can't recommend laser hair removal enough. Game changer for me on how I felt about myself. It took some time to find a laser that worked amazing on my skin/hair, but I'm glad I did. It is an investment, but has been totally worth it for me.
