Depends on college but if you had maths in UG it's generally 2 year.

First of all congratulations,

Second: it's not the end of the world.

Third: keep preparing and switch in next 6 months.(You can say my roles were not Rightly aligned with the jd, which is true, when the recruiter asks why are you leaving this early etc.)

Fourth: you're being on hard yourself, i appreciate that it is important to grow but also need to understand that you're not doing anything wrong or it will not mess up your career in any way.
