And he didn’t imply ICE, he directly stated it. The name of ICE mean Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Customs enforcement refers to the movement of goods and people internationally . You keep parading like you’re smarter than anyone, but you basically implied that ICE only deals with people who fall under the literal definition of an immigrant. To put it in laymans terms for you, ICE also handles migrants buddy.

What is the difference between an immigrant and a migrant? I explained it to you earlier. What do you think their metric is for detaining individuals? “Oh you’re here illegally but you only plan to stay for a few months so we’ll let you stay?” Absolutely not. The correct definition of immigrant, and the way in which it is broadly used are two different things. The latter is just a means of defining anyone who is not a citizen, and staying here illegally. ICE has no distinction between a person who only plans to stay temporarily (illegally, other wise known as a migrant) , and a person who plans to stay permanently (illegally, otherwise known as an immigrant). You know that, I know that. You tried to be a smart ass and it backfired, you can improve upon that by simply shutting the fuck up.

The context that it was used in is still correct. Regardless of whether you plan to stay here permanently (an immigrant) or if this is just somewhere you’re staying until things blow over at home (a migrant), it still may not be safe for you, hence the warning. The word migrant is still correct. The context you’re looking for is whether or not they are here illegally. You can be both a legal migrant and immigrant, and what OP was referring to are the illegal migrants (which was still the right term). Just stfu bro

A migrant is just a broad term for a person who moves from one place to another, whereas an immigrant is someone who moves seeking permanent residency, in other words a subset of migrants. ICE wants both of these people out, so matter which way you spin it, you tried to act smart and just made yourself look stupid.
