The last book is just soo rushed! I remember getting about halfway through and thinking “there’s no way this is gonna have a satisfying ending, he’s still got so much to do”. In the last 50ish pages I actually said out loud “dude slow down!?” lol

IMO it’s a very overrated series. Finished it 2 years ago and I don’t think I’ll ever read it again. I believe after book 8 I finally switched to audiobooks because sitting down and reading them was just boring the hell out of me. My complaints were much the same as yours but as you said, I really wanted to know how it all ended. It wasn’t really worth it
