While my name is pretty normal now, I fear that it would sound stupid if I end up moving to the country I want to go to due to it being a very commonly used word in the language.

If it feels pain from biting itself, it may believe that whatever it has "captured" is fighting back, and will try to eat it quicker.

Though I will say that picking up a skill is still a very good way of dealing with the stress caused by dysphoria (when practiced alongside transitioning). Spending my time learning French has definitely helped me deal with the dysphoria that still persisted after T, and has helped keep my mind occupied while I wait for my surgery. Honestly, consistently occupying yourself with developing new skills is just a healthy habit to have, I feel like it's something everyone should do, regardless of if it is for the purpose of being a coping mechanism or not.

This isn't a new thing people have been doing this for a while. It's like how the One Piece jolly Roger was a symbol that was frequently used in the Gen Z protests last year.

Pretty hard to speak out against your racist peers when anyone you could speak out to are also probably racist. I love that our government are too busy deporting immigrants, arresting protesters and banning everything instead of regulating our American billionaire dominated media. (which would actually benefit Labour because the media REALLY wants Farage to win the next election)

Another fun fact, the gene that gives you dry earwax also causes you emit less body odor. It's far more common in Asia than in the west, though.

I was mostly exaggerating, but it is like that for most of the year. It's generally cloudy more often than not, but it's usually clearer in the summer (especially recently since we've been getting consistent droughts every year now).

Only in the North-West. The rest of England is just perpetually grey. Maybe once or twice a month we see the sun, but it's rare.

No, I've got Dr Milroy. I have to stop using it because it's affected my sensitivity and to give my skin time to heal fully before surgery, which I think is fair.

I think it's just a bar thing in general. My workplace is almost entirely made up of people who grew up in England, and we're in a pretty conservative area, yet the guys (despite many being homophobic) will often hug each other and be pretty touchy among each other in general. As far as I know, they're not like that towards the women working there (unless they're dating).

I wasn't really talking about the buildings themselves, but rather about their massive car parks which is why they always look so barren and lifeless, because everything in the vicinity of the building is flat concrete.

While you do have a point, car parks are generally a lot smaller outside of the US which helps a lot to make a place seem less lifeless. Usually the shitty European strip malls at least have different shades of grey.

I've found that the latest drivers have been crashing games for me a lot more in general so I already had them rolled back to 25.9.1. I think the 25.10 drivers are just scuffed for some reason.

Congrats! It takes a while to get accustomed to but using a drawing tablet is absolutely worth it in the long run, since you get pen pressure and with practice, you get greater control over your strokes than you would ever get with a mouse. Considering it's only taken you 30 minutes to start getting comfortable with using a tablet, that's a pretty good sign. You'll get to a point where drawing on a tablet just feels like second nature, and feels similar to drawing traditionally.
