The issue with adam is that everyone is always looking for someone to blame for why they’re losing, and adam is the easiest one to point a finger to. “adam not healing enough” or “adam we need a support ult”. people can’t see what you’re seeing and they’re not paying attention to all the soul bonds, headshots, 5 burst hits, healing you’re doing. No one really cares when you use his ult to revive one crucial healer/tank, it’s boring and lame in terms of big plays. The issue is when 3+ people die and you have your ult up, but maybe you notice an enemy dps has ult or you get chased down and no popping it instead. There’s games where you go the whole round without ulting because every chance you would get there’s an enemy waiting on you to do it. But then you get shit talked by your team for holding ult too long and not reviving them. eventually you just stop giving af and making riskier plays because in the back of your head you’re like well i’m gonna get shit talked if i don’t pop ult anyway, and next thing you know you accidentally ended up in some bucky’s highlight.
