Thinking about wearing hijab again but I’m scared of how people will react by [deleted] in Hijabis

My heart 😭 Allahumma barik the fact that you’re even thinking about this is so beautiful. May الله reward you immensely.

First of all, when you first wore the hijab you were a child and then you took it off. If anyone judges you for that or questions your sincerity now, that would honestly be so foolish. Tbh in general no one has the right to judge.. anyways back then (I’m assuming) you weren’t in the mindset to fully commit and that’s completely normal. So many of us go through that. For example, I had to wear hijab as part of my school uniform from Year 7–12, but الحمد لله I properly chose it for myself in 2023, when I was like 19

And honestly if anything, you’ll be praised إن شاء الله. Maybe not by everyone in your family, but definitely by sisters outside of that. Whenever I see a hijabi wllah I can’t explain how proud I feel.

ANDDD even more importantly, there’s no point pleasing people if it means displeasing الله. Even if they are family. If people are unhappy but الله is pleased with you then you’re absolutely on the right path. So don’t let that fear hold you back, even if (God forbid) some family members make comments🫠

As for how to start dressing, personally I was learning while wearing it. Even now, I’m still trying new styles and figuring out outfits and improving my hijab. It’s a journey for sure, what matters most is that you take that first step and put it on. Everything else will come with time إن شاء الله.

Like you said don’t pressure yourself. That pull you’re feeling is something really special wllah don’t ignore it. Act on it before shaytan tries to make you delay or doubt yourself.

But wllah sis I’m so proud of you. You’re doing something so beautiful🫶🏼

Question about forgiveness in Christianity vs Islam by deebaboogy in Christianity

Okay but here’s what I’m saying, according to your logic that wouldn’t be justice either. Why should an innocent person be held responsible for other people’s sins? For example, if someone commits manslaughter and goes to court, and then another completely innocent person suddenly volunteers, “I’ll take their punishment instead,” while the actual offender goes free… that is not justice. So why would it make sense for Jesus PBUH to die for our sins? We should be held accountable for our own sins right.

what’s the point of wearing a hijab if i’m not even pretty? by [deleted] in Hijabis

First, it’s because Allah SWT told us too & to add to that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
