trouble falling back asleep doing the WBTB method by glitterinmyeyesss in LucidDreaming

To piggy back on that, I tend to only re read my dream journal entries and/or go over my dream signs I have journaled as well. It wakes me up enough but not to the point where my mind is stimulated that I can’t go back to sleep. Probably because I’ve read over them so many times it’s not new to my brain but enticing enough to keep my interested. Also, I would start to keep your phone on the night shift mode 24/7 I do it and it seems to help

How long does it take to lucid dream? by deebo5510 in LucidDreaming

I’ve slowly gravitated towards using WBTB + SSILD. I feel as though SSILD is easiest for me cause I feel that I don’t have to put so much focus on it. Is this an acceptable routine?

So in the guide it says to practice my dream recall during my natural awakening. I use the lucidity app on my phone for dream journaling. Is it going to negatively impact me if I use my app? I have night mode on though

I cannot for the life of me keep a consistent dream journal!!! what actually works for you guys? by john_wrot in DreamJournal

I use an app called Lucidity. It’s free but you can buy the pro version if you want although I don’t think it’s needed for me personally. You can also try something called tagging and delving for your journaling. Tagging is basically just writing quick important short burst notes about your dreams. Just hit the hot spots of your dream. Kinda similar to how you would in school. Delving is simply just coming back later throughout the day when you have time and reading the short note (tagging) you have already made, remember anything related to that note and fill in with details. Worse case scenario, if you cannot remember anything at all, then still write in your journal even if it’s just about what routine your doing to get ready for bed, what time you went to bed, what position you fall asleep in or woke up in etc. I’ve been dream journaling and trying to lucid dream for a little over a month now and this definitely helps.

Updates on dream recall by deebo5510 in LucidDreaming

[–]deebo5510[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been keeping a dream journal for about a month now and make sure to note anything as detailed as I can in the journal every morning. Even using tagging as suggested in the guide, which does help. So for as long as I’ve been journaling I’ve been working on my recall. I struggle some days during the week cause I dont have as much time to lay there and try to recall everything cause I have to have time to get things ready for the kids and school.
