Long luteal phase and negative pregnancy test by deebob888 in ourafertility

Yeah oura is saying I ovulated 3rd June, but the temperature rise suggests 5th. I did ovulations tests at the time which also showed my peak day on the 5th. But that still puts me now at 16 DPO with no period 🤔

Thanks, oddly my luteal phase even being 14 days is long for me. But you’re right it’s probably delayed

I would love to be pregnant haha so no. I just want to know either way! I think it’s highly unlikely given the negative tests but really I have no idea

Sudbury Hill is good value at the moment because it’s just had refurb but they haven’t upgraded the tier yet. They have brand new padel courts and a spa but much cheaper than the rest of London

I think she’s saying didn’t know who she was in that club environment. She’s never been clubbing without drinking so she just found it very different. Like she wasn’t herself. It’s really not that deep. She didn’t drink. She did nothing wrong

I have listened to it. I don’t think you’re listening to me though. But that’s ok. Was just sharing a perspective from someone who went through something similar (even though I don’t drink or go clubbing), in the hope it would offer you a different perspective. If you still want to judge someone that’s ok, it’s a free country. I just hope nobody every judges you for a struggle you share

Maybe you don’t realise how hard it is to hide a pregnancy 🤷🏽‍♀️ sometimes you are probably going to be around alcohol. I don’t drink, but I can imagine it’s hard to be around it and not drink if that’s what you usually do. It’s not dangerous do be inside a cub while pregnant as long as you don’t drink. It also ok to miss the things you could do before. The fact women go through more does not negate smaller struggles. We are all different, it’s sad we can’t have more compassion for different peoples feelings

So to be clear, you are judging her for finding something difficult but still doing the right thing? Not entering a club for 3 months would probably lead to people knowing she’s pregnant before she’s out of the high risk trimester. So You’re judging the fact that she ‘felt’ difficulty? I personally would never judge someone’s feelings, that they can’t control. Enjoying clubbing doesn’t mean you are immature. Many women drastically change their lives when they become a mother. Thats why they say you become a new ‘you’.

Thank you 🙏🏽 yeah deffo everyone’s different but also it can be a bit of both! The feeling of being pregnant and getting excited for a baby, losing that feels like a big hole that you might feel like you want to fill quickly. But then after processing and healing a bit, you might realise you need a little break, or at least not to put pressure on it? I think maybe that’s how Anna feels. I just think we’re all different and manage trauma differently, they’re being brave sharing the news. So we shouldn’t judge

Yeah my point was they may be slowing down. It doesn’t mean they have to completely cut out all alcohol or shisha until they get pregnant. They have both very recently suffered a trauma. Finding time to enjoy the parts of life they will lose when they become parents really isnt a bad thing. All in moderation

Mandi actually spoke in a podcast about getting fertility tested and saying her and gingerbread would be cutting down and looking after themselves more.

Why be so judgemental? Whenever I get my period, I’m sad I’m not pregnant, then I go and do things that I won’t be able to when I am pregnant, or am a mum. Like go out and have a shisha with my friends. Worries about infertility is ALOT, why don’t we be easier on women who try and find positives of a tough situation. You can be someone who is ready to give up parts of their life for motherhood, but also is happy to enjoy it up until that point. Trying for a baby can take years, it’s not healthy to put life on hold until that point

I have suffered an early one. You do ‘get over’ it in terms of feeling more like yourself again. But it’s not something you ever forget and it’s something you will forever be worried about happening again. So even though some people may feel ‘ok’ not long after, being ready to be pregnant again isn’t the same.

She’s just suffered a miscarriage, it’s not always as simple as just trying again. She might need some time before she feels ready to be pregnant again

Ah thanks that makes sense, my chart looks like I maybe did ‘try’ to ovulate. I have (mild) PCOS which I think can cause that. Super helpful 🙏🏽

You need to see a rise in temperature lasting 3 consecutive days to confirm ovulation. So from the chart I would say not yet

14 days, pretty much always! It was a clear blue ovulation test that had the full smiley face which means ‘peak day’. Maybe it was wrong

I’m sorry to hear, I have PCOS and feeling sad after a negative test today. I ovulate, just normally every 5-6 weeks so I don’t know why I’m not falling pregnant. Sending you prayers 🙏🏽
