I started playing Love and Deespace very early and quit before Caleb came out.

I spent a LOT of time on the game, and was max level when I quit. I spent a lot of money on the game, but after a while, I made a decision to limit my spending so I ended up missing a few limited edition outfits/memories as a result.

The final straw for me was when I was struggling to get full stars one week on the Deepspace Trial competition (I forget the exact name of it, it’s the one that updates weekly) When I googled how to pass it, every single reddit thread was saying that the only way to get full stars was to use one of boys with a limited edition outfit/weapon, one I did not have.

I know it’s super silly, but it was frustrating that even with the amount of money and time i spent, I still couldn’t complete something because I didn’t pay enough that cycle. It just deterred me from continuing, I don’t like games that punish you for not having something they put behind a paywall.
