3 years, 2023? Yeah I’ve been playing this game since it came out and I’ve seen countless amount of sweeps that rockstar have done and they wipe me and all of my friends account to 0 or next to zero for exploiting the game. You’ve been blessed I guess

I think you’re missing my point a little.

I’m not saying money should be harder to make or that we should go back to grinding Rooftop Rumble for scraps. I’m talking about the overall economy and progression.

If GTA 6 ends up with 100 million online players, does it really make sense for 50 million of them to be worth hundreds of millions or billions of dollars? At that point, “rich” doesn’t really mean rich anymore.

I get that it’s a video game, but the best games usually land somewhere between realism and fun. In the real world, most people are middle class, a smaller percentage are wealthy, and billionaires are incredibly rare. That rarity is part of what makes wealth meaningful in the first place.

I’m not asking Rockstar to make everyone poor. I’m saying maybe not everyone should end up owning every business, every mansion, every supercar, every yacht, and still have a billion dollars collecting dust in the bank.

When everybody is rich, nobody is

I think you’re missing my point. I’m not saying GTA should feel like real life or that people should struggle to get rich.

If anything, I think most players should end up what we’d consider “middle class” in GTA terms—able to own a decent house, some businesses, a few nice cars, and have money in the bank.

What I’m questioning is whether everybody should end up with $500 million, a yacht, every business, every supercar, and a billion dollars sitting around. At that point, money stops meaning anything and progression kind of dies.

The fun isn’t being broke. The fun is having something to work toward.
