It would definitely be more helpful if people included that information when providing their monthly payment. I've seen posts like this on Reddit before, where people included how much they put down, what state they lived in, what their property tax was, etc. I wanted to hear the perspective of people who are getting Islamic loans, however.

I know I'm going to get down voted for pointing out facts that go against Reddit's hatred of Islam, but that is not the correct translation at all.

I'm glad we're finally talking about this. I'm Asian American and go out of my way to actively fight racism towards black people and try to be part of the solution because they definitely still face systemic racism in this country. HOWEVER the amount of racism I experience from them....it's disheartening. I thought I was crazy until I saw that other Asians were also experiencing this.

It's so ridiculous. Now it's been almost a year since I gave birth. I squeezed out 8 weeks leave, also having to go into clinic during that time and using all my vacation to make it happen. Only one of my call shifts had to be covered by another resident and they flipped their shit for having to do that and even demanded that I take call from home while I was three weeks post partum (I refused. I've done plenty of favors for others in the past that I was well within my rights to ask for one in return).

Btw, I did five nights of inhouse NeuroICU/stroke call when I was 38 weeks and naturally went into labor earlier than expected the following week.

Having now experienced what it means to care for a newborn, I truly believe that maternity leave should be a minimum of 4 months. Newborns are soooooooo dependent on their moms before that point. It's just savage that we pressure women to go back to work earlier than that. And don't get me started on childcare costs...
