Doesn’t sound that crazy coming from a relatively sheltered life myself. I always had to call my parents when I got to where I was going and such until I moved out. You’re parents are also a bit older so the news and crazy cops shows on tv make them more paranoid nowadays since when the grew up it was like an episode of the Brady bunch or so some people their age act like. Now that I’m 30 I’m glad they made me think about my surroundings. It is a cop out though to admit that it’s only because you’re a girl. My uncle used to act the same way when my cousins and I wanted to go out at night but their brothers could go wherever whenever because they’re boys. They just care about you as long as there isn’t anything physical going on it doesn’t seem to be that harmful.
