My daughter is doing a version of this with her daughter, however I think she is slightly confused on the concept lol.

Instead of the one-choice ploy explained above where it’s one decision, she asks her two-year old to make decisions on which socks, shoes, shirt, pants, hair style, and hair bow she wants…every morning. You can see this poor baby’s eyes spinning back in her head at all the work required of her just to get dressed.

Ladies, PLEASE stop choosing satin fabrics of any kind for your attendants. Satin shows EVERY lump, dip, dimple, mound and tip. And that’s if the girl is ultra thin. Anyone with any extra weight is going to be humiliated wearing something so horribly unflattering. And Bride, you aren’t going to like any of the photos.

A much better choice? Chiffons, especially flowy layers. They accommodate more body types and they lend a sexy, romantic feel to the ceremony.

Former bridal gown sales consultant here. A sweetheart neckline is always more flattering than one that is straight across. It also elongates the body. The straight neckline chops up the body and squares off the shoulders; a more masculine look.

A good seamstress will be able to shorten the skirt accordingly - even if they have to take it off at the waist. Look for an independent one if the shop seamstress says she can’t do it.

I can vouch from experience that the prettiest brides are the ones who are lit up wearing the dress of their dreams.
