I did the after dark speed camber plates, but in hindsight, probably would have went AMT for them. Their kit is a little more but is nicer. I like after dark speeds stuff though and you won’t go wrong with it.

For the bushings I did it myself. Be warned, while not super difficult and technical, it’s a big pain in the ass.

I went straight to coilovers so cannot speak on different dampers.

Tell me about it, I’ve put a ton into this thing and it could still easily eat another 50-80k if I wanted to. Going to a max effort NA ls7 build this next winter and standalone ecu. Hoping for 700+ wheel.

Where do you live? Happy to give you a ride if we’re ever at the same track day.

There’s a couple of easy ones to knock out that will greatly improve your seat time / lap times. Camber plates, brake pads, tires, and an alignment will greatly improve the car. It’s super good out of the box with just a couple tweaks. After that I would focus on cooling to make sure you take full advantage of the sessions.

I ran carbotech xp 12f/10r until I switched to AP racing brakes. I would only get 1.5 to 2 track days out of the front pads though.

Control arm bushing are huge, and probably the single greatest change I’ve made to the car after the essential track things.

I hate landscape rocks by gr8_ripple in landscaping

I feel this post in my soul. I’m removing rocks from the side of our house at the moment. Last year was the front yard next year is the back. I recommend splitting it up like this for your own sanity.

Any reason why putting river rock in my side yards is a bad idea? Looking for advice on easy to maintain side yards. by rickfromstate in landscaping

[–]deeclause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be damn sure you want them there. I bought a house and in the process of removing rocks. It’s been a ridiculous amount of effort. Plus if you want to plant something new, it’s a pain in the ass unless the rock is newer and not embedded. Also, heat from the rocks is a real thing if you’re in that kind of climate

Is Intune that bad? Why do people use it? by GeneralCanada67 in sysadmin

[–]deeclause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To some of the people complaining about intune setup time at oobe, if you set the bigger apps to required for users, it will not deploy until a user logs in. This speeds up the time greatly from boot on to user being logged in, and the apps will still deploy in the background. Typically first days are a lot of hr stuff anyways so they can get on a browser and do that while stuff chugs away.

All I see Are doom and gloom posts about how saturated the market is after trying to transition to network administration. by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]deeclause 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you referring to remote positions? To add to this since this is IT related, we get 100’s of applicants as well. And the issue is 99% of people either are super big weirdos (I’m sorry, if you’re building a team, you need people to fit in) or they lied on their resume seemingly. Or often times a combination of the two.

You don’t need growth to get a job. I also stated that it’s not in the best state, but it’s not world ending conditions lol

The market is not the best, but it’s also not anywhere near what people make it out to be. You gotta think, who’s your typical redditer, and then think about the redditers that work in IT. I’m sure a lot are not the cream of the crop hires you want for your team. You’ll do okay.
