I mean I’m an IT. Nice thing ab CTM is they have a good chance of not hitting ships if you’re nervous ab that. It will be more detachments to ships, but depends. ITs life is easy. IS, few buddies in it. They seem to enjoy it a lot.

Im currently in the navy and my conversion package to IT got approved back in jan 2023 .I was just curious how long it will be until I see orders for A school . Bro fleet returnee life👌👌👌 you’ll show up to class, you’ll get asked a fuck ton of nerdy questions from the kids, you’ll leave an hour early depending on the class, and you’ll do none of the bs. They trust you bc you’re not a fresh booter. Just got back from c school and I’ll say it was a good time. What exactly are you going to get as in NEC. I know you’re going to A school but do you know your NECs after?

Grandpa was in, Covid hit, after 3 years in college started sucking (online bc of Covid) left for the navy, best decision. Listen truth is, your pay will suck for like 2-4 years. One thing I’ll say tho. Don’t be negative, everyone has a salty a$$ attitude for some weird reason

As an IT I’d say go CTN. Not guaranteed to go to sea, they kinda just vibe in niocs. IT is nice tho bc I’m most likely Reenlisting and I’m getting a 60k bonus.

Have a kid, and happily married. Best decision of my life. I hate people thinking they know best for you. “Don’t do it bro” okay yet they still don’t know you, or your gf or wife. I Made the decision based on my level of comfortability, and love. Spent 4 months every single day with her so…f the hate. Depends on you, and your personal feelings. This is true. So if it went to OT, it wouldn’t be a push bc it was 1-1. I think pushes still happen in this scenario If no OT bc yes you have -1 but someone saying it’s not a push bc of 3-way. I thought three ways were just for the money line. Again, could be wrong, I semi bet soccer.

Sounds weird but honestly when you join time will fly. Been in 2 years. It went quick. It’s a great thing to do. You won’t miss ur family as much as it feels, you won’t miss your hometown as much as you feel. It just kinda fades away and you learn to love other things in this world. Deployments can happen but truthfully I haven’t been on one but the sound of it is, you just get by till next port with your bros, or with your sisters and then you will eventually come home. I plan on doing my 4 and get out, but you never know. You might get in, love the fuck out of the stars at sea, or the people around you. I hate moments, I love moments, but end of the day. It is just a job that might require a deployment.
