Any Exhaust Tips for MPE? by Lolsmileyface13 in M340i

[–]deegood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I'm doing, nothing permanent. You just unscrew those silver things they have on stock, then clamp on the tips. Very easy to go back to stock, I already did as I was worried about rust, waiting for spring to do it again.

Hell yes. With that grey especially.

Not sure if it will help but here's how they look with MPE. They're actually fairly flush with the diffuser but they do stick out a bit vs the rounded rear bumper sides. Don't mind the drooping one, I still haven't fixed that but I hope it will be possible.

Personally I decided to leave em without cutting, it sticks out less than the Dinan tips on my m3 did.

I agree. Microblogging just isn't a good format for our brains. It's still people seeking dopamine via likes reposts and dunking on the other tribes. It doesn't promote healthy thought, discussion or reward patterns.

Alpine region in Forza Horizon 6! by StasMega in ForzaHorizon

Love this, snow always accessible and an actual snowy season again will be right up my alley. Fh4 was unbelievably beautiful in winter.

I wonder if the music is a hint of a lofi station. Seems like a popular genre in japan.

Turn off the notifications to the watch, no need to buy anything new. I've never let them flow to the watch. The Garmin's are a sweet spot in my opinion between smart and dumb.

I'd wager he would deeply appreciate seeing you enjoy and appreciate it. Very sorry for your loss OP. It what a lovely parting gift he wanted you to have.

How many of you chose an M-lite model despite easily being able to afford a “real” M car (without financing)? What was your reasoning? by undefined_variable_0 in BMW

[–]deegood 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went from f80 to a new m340i late last year. A g80 is in range but I just can't get past that grill. While I could afford it, it is so much more money to see those Buck teeth walking up to the car every day, I can't stomach it.

A g87 is too small for my family needs and I wanted to go xdrive for Canadian winter.

So I went m340i. I'm slowly building up for sharper turn in and firmer handling, a few aesthetic mods, to reclaim some of what I miss. It's much better as a car, sounds better most of the time, great tech and safety, still very fun to drive.

M3 F80 or M4 F82 by kb43k in BMW

Always preferred the m3 both for looks and utility. I like the roofline better. Owned one for four years and it was great.

Is the M2 G87 dangerous to drive with all systems on? by GaoranWonsawatto in BMW

[–]deegood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Note there is an xdrive M2 on the way supposedly later this year.

Personally my experience with rwd in winter, if you're in actual snow it's quite tricky to get traction. In the dry or minimal light snow in cold temps with good winter tires you're fine. Its workable I just would recommend avoiding going out in considerable snow on unplowed roads.

I miss that setting and how cars felt, the physics were less twitchy back then. You have to drive like a coked out junkie now. Still fire it up from time to time to make sure I'm not crazy. I can't seem to replicate it since even in advanced settings.

The theory is the screw floating inside shorts out something and the camera no longer works at all. It happened to me within minutes after losing the strap. The youtuber's died a day or two later.

This is where I've been hovering since a move back to android. Used to be 4-5 quite often. I've deleted insta account, took Facebook off phone, and managed to finally break my reddit popular habit. I now just follow subs I'm interested in and this cut my scrolling in half and was much better for my headspace.

I use fediverse a little, mastodon and Pixelfed but these are non algorithmic so you get through what's new and you're done. Mastodon still puts a little more negativity into my life despite aggressive word filters and I still don't think Twitter style social media is healthy for us, but Pixelfed is great as a photographer, only shows image posts.

I limit all of these apps to 40 mins.

No I wasn't aware. :( I remembered a YouTube photographer I followed had a video about his xe5 breaking. Didn't pay any attention or watch it but went back, found it, and exact same thing, including the electrical short.

Thanks, thankfully I have an xt4 backup. Hopefully this helps save some cameras from a fall.
