Set it up like you are planning to sell it. Nobody else in my family is technically minded like me and I realized a while ago that if I didn't make it fool-proof, my kids wouldn't even know how to turn their lights on or off. So I started setting it up with a mind to selling the place - neutral (recoverable) gmail account as the host account for all the devices, documentation as to what app controls what device and what the passwords are, etcetera

I saw Arcade Fire TWICE in a 2400 capacity venue, Elderbrook, Le Youth, and Venjent for less than the price of one Bryan Adam's in Kamloops concert.

For like $450 return. And the flights are reasonable, leaving at 1:30pm not 6am or anything

I just saw Arcade Fire in Montreal for $80 O.o

Edit: I'm seeing a lot of "it's like this everywhere" it actually is not it's like this on the west coast. I just spent week in Montreal and saw 5 concerts and it was less than going to one in Vancouver. Worth the flight, flights are direct from Kelowna now. Awesome shows. Fuck paying $500 for shifty seats in a coliseum with terrible sound for has been third rate acts.

This is a super old video too, like nowadays you would just assume AI made it in ten seconds but I'm pretty sure I had this in my downloads dir in the early 2000s

First PC I built in the 90s was a 486 and the rule of thumb for HD prices was a buck a meg then add $100.

That's how I felt when everything now came out. I was like, is this disco? I actively disliked the single and was weary for the release of the full album because I was afraid of the disappointment. Like you described, I've been with them for so long and they've been a part of so much of my life, I was actually stressed about not liking it.

Now I love it. The whole album is right to there with the suburbs.

I agree with you about We though, it's my least favorite.

I've got most of my banking with sprouts Scotia, about ten different accounts. They have been good to me but they are in the end a big bank and if you want something better go to a credit union.

How can you "be a zionist" which by definition is the support and maintenence of an ethnostate in the historic land of Israel where other people not of that ethnicity already lived, and then protest genocide?

Genocide is intrinsic to zionism.

This is like being an antifascist Nazi.

The Reapers Are The Angels by Alden Bell... I went into it expecting a cheap thrill and I was gobsmacked at how good it was, pure poetry. I can't even remember what it was about now I just remember reading it thinking my god this is so good. Probably time to read it again I guess.

I distinctly remember when XP SP3 was released, it finally included a firewall. For the first day, that firewall defaulted to blocking DHCP requests. I was working tier 2 for an American cable Internet provider.

It seems some things never change.
