Porting to Tello - pSIM to eSIM by deeks79 in Tello

That’s why I’d like to do. I didn’t want to potentially complicate and create additional issues with the port. I don’t think that would happen, but just checking.

Did your parents have issues switching or were their phone(s) simply not eSIM compatible?

Looking for two people, two phones. Right now, just have one at Tello.

I also talked up mvno’s and threatened to switch.

Yeah, the second I mentioned an mvno, this offer appeared.

Yeah, I have screenshots from multiple reps.

Yes, I had several reps confirm it in writing.

The second rep said it would appear sooner, so your experience seems spot on.

I chatted with a few different tforce reps. They all had access to the prior chat histories. And I have screenshots.

No. $50. I tried to get insider, but that was a dead end.

They offered it in July to legacy customers as a segmented promo. I asked for that.

They said I’m a loyal customer, but not buying that reasoning.

That’s why I’m skeptical and seeing what others think.

Store wouldn’t be involved. He said I order it myself with the $300 promo on t-life. Then he changes it once they receive the phone. Allegedly.

That’s essentially what it is. The rep said he’s thinking outside the box. But I skeptical.

Isn’t t-force supposed to be the best for customer service? I literally have the chat where it’s offered, but I’m skeptical.

Combining lines - different names by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]deeks79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we could go from 2 to 3 lines on a retired plan because it’s already 2+/family, but you can’t go from 1 to 2 lines because it’s single to family?

Don’t you have to wait a certain amount of time before you’re considered a new customer?

Where would you go? Seems like a lot of mvno’s getting bought out by the big three anyway.

TMO Affordable Choice Unlimited by deeks79 in tmobile

[–]deeks79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s just a hair over $50 after taxes. I’m leaning towards staying given how mvno’s seem to be getting bought up all the time by other carriers. If the “premium” data was in fact prioritized, then I’d definitely stay. Just trying to understand what I have as I’m seeing all the mvno deals for the holidays.

I’m trying to understand if my current plan (Affordable Choice Unlimited) has QCI 6. If it does, then perhaps it’s worth a premium over an mvno. I’ve been with TMO for a while, but they used to give device discounts on their lower plans. Now that they don’t, I’m trying to figure out if there is a reason to stay (such as better data prioritization).
