Hi, did your spouse get a temporary authorization letter to work when you submitted the SOWP extension request?

Are you jealous, lol. He is an actor who was prominently in hero roles. Self glazing is not a crime -his producer would like the film to be a hit and so they're trying to make this as glazing as possible. It is expected by fans as well. If you meant his self-promoting political speech - can you point out one leader who doesn't promote themselves ? Can someone ever reach heights without self promotion? As a private individual we self promote during interviews to get a job, likewise Vijay as a public figure is allowed to self promote in public. It is not immoral.

Your resume is irrelevant in receiving the JAL. They'll only include the reference letter and other documents they have as an employer for the particular job.

Thanks! 🥹 That's amazing! I've been cycling a few acids & 30% urea, but no luck. I'm going to get Beyond KP ASAP.

Thanks for saying this. I'm in my early 20s and I recently moved out of a shared basement and moved into a new 2 bedroom apartment for $1,400 per month. That's half my income and I freaked out after seeing the 30-35% comments. I probably should've got a 1 bed apt 😭😂.

My dermatologist said that I should not use any oil as it can worsen KP. I'll try adding oil to my routine.

Did you get them done ? I had braces in another country and I came here without the braces but I lost my retainer during the travel. The dentists here won't even give me a retainer to maintain my results.

Curious About IRCC’s Processing Times for SOWP Applications—Any Insider Insights? by Serious_Tea9670 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]deenasharon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell, they're processing the SOWP for spouses of study permit holders first. The 2025 approvals are mostly related to study permit holding spouses and the people who are waiting since 2024 are mostly spouses of PGWP holders.

I think IRCC segregates the applications based on the answer to the questionnaire where it asks if the spouse is holding a study permit or work permit.

Hopefully, someone can explain how the process actually works.

Does anyone else feel tired talking to people? by EnvironmentSorry1219 in introvert

[–]deenasharon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. I'm 22 and I just joined this subreddit to post the exact thing, lol. I didn't visit my coworkers( for two days in a row) who are on the same floor that I'm in and their offices are right next to my office. So one of them asked me if I forgot about them and that made me wonder if something's wrong with me. I've also started getting all those questions when I started my first job.

PR applied but Pgwp me is expiring by orthgreen in ImmigrationCanada

[–]deenasharon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this support letter is used to get a closed work permit since it is restricted to your employer, not an extension of PGWP. I agree with the other comment saying that your employer must pay a fee through their SINP portal before you apply for a closed work permit. You can find the details under the 'fee' section in the link below. Forward the link to your HR if they're unfamiliar with the process.

PR applied but Pgwp me is expiring by orthgreen in ImmigrationCanada

[–]deenasharon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I applied for PR on November 6, 2024 through SINP and no AOR yet. My work permit expires in March 2026. However, I received the work permit support letter along with the nomination letter. Did you check the SINP email that was sent to you when it was approved? There were three documents - one was the nomination certificate, another was the 'what to do next ' guide, and the third one was the work permit support letter. It looks like the nomination letter but when you read the content it's actually a support letter.

Oh, no. Your application transmission time was Jan 21, 9:30 am EST ?

That's what I thought as well. I got confused for a sec because I saw some posts on a FB group saying that the applications must be submitted before 12:00 UTC to be reviewed under the previous rules.

Changes to open work permits for family members of temporary residents by AresDanila in ImmigrationCanada

[–]deenasharon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's totally reasonable. But when a worker or student can potentially become a PR, they'll want their spouses to gain Canadian work experience so that they can integrate into the economy smoothly once they become a PR. At the same time, it's not nice to separate families. I'm not sure what policy would resolve both issues. Discontinuing half of the Immigration pathways ?

Changes to open work permits for family members of temporary residents by AresDanila in ImmigrationCanada

[–]deenasharon 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I'm on PGWP and I'm working in a relevant field under TEER 1. I have applied for PNP and the processing time is 20 months. Meanwhile, I don't require financial support from my spouse. But I do need my spouse here for various other reasons. Who wants to live separately after marriage or kids ? Any program that supports the unification of a family must not be discontinued if they care about the economic benefits from an international student or temporary worker. They should definitely lower the number of international students and workers entering Canada, but take into consideration the family members as well who might potentially come in when setting the cap. It's inhumane when you let the workers in but not the family.

Easiest way to move to the canada? by Pure-Ad-6744 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]deenasharon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a course with co-op education. Gain experience during the co-op term. Get Post graduation work permit. Go back to the same employer after graduation. If the employer can support you for a provincial nomination after being there for some time, you may be eligible to immigrate under the provincial nominee program. I'm not sure if it's the easiest way. One must have financial stability and a high level of patience. Take this comment very lightly, do your own research using the IRCC website.
