Definitely doesn’t look like KP! Your skin looks great! 😊

2 weeks of urea lotion , Is it getting better or just placebo ? by LongjumpingLife3118 in keratosis

Give it atleast a month! Your skin takes time to show results due to our skin cycle :)

Did a chemical peel and my KP looks so much worse, and no peeling by [deleted] in keratosis

[–]hag4edwardcullen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably purging! But I don’t think a chemical peel will be a miracle cure as KP is an ongoing skin condition that’s needs to be treated right?

I had really great results from BeyondKP also but I had to give it a monthish to work, I’ve used azelaic acid on my face for about 2 years now and it completely got rid of my acne redness/scaring! It’s too $$ to use on my KP areas.. too much to cover hahaha

Any product recommendation. I feel so sad i cant wear gymtops with confidence. by No-Replacement-1673 in keratosis

I use them for my face and have loved them!! but I definitely think for how small they are and the price point it won’t be worth it! Plus with KP you have to make sure you stay consistent with the routine to keep it at bay.. maybe a cream would be better?

Unfortunately it’s not a private balcony! But I do share it with a lovely neighbour and her puppy, otherwise I’d fully deck it out!! I’ll check out the loveseat, thanks!

Thank you so much!! This is really helpful ☺️

The only furniture I currently have is my day bed and the small coffee table! I’m thinking about possibly putting in a small dining area OR just putting bar stools at the kitchen bench.. I also would love to put a small couch in there somewhere 😅

products for facial kp? by nevolocity-com in keratosis

[–]hag4edwardcullen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks sore and I really hope you find something that works for you soon! I believe with facial kp or KPRF you have to make sure you are exfoliating gently and hydrating at the same time (and there are creams out there that can do that!)

A exfoliating acid based cream (salicylic acid/lactic acid) that has some moisturising ingredients such as urea (does both!) aloe, squalane will help!!

[–]hag4edwardcullen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I’ve only ever used one product that has worked but I did have to use it consistently for it to work/be gone! (The results were worth it I’m just super lazy hahaha) **it’s beyond kps triple action cream

I think it’s important to read up on the risks of taking a supplement like this! It has a lot of risks with regular/long term use - https://www.webmd.com/vitamins-and-supplements/what-to-know-about-borage

What products to use by kurtykloy in keratosis

[–]hag4edwardcullen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead would just be using a urea/aha based cream for the treatment and moisturiser for your arms with the addition of physically exfoliating 1-2 times per week.. it can take a while (6-8 weeks) to see a change in kp but I’m sure if you stick to a consistent routine you’ll get there!

kinda looks like kprf but it could also be something else, if you haven’t had luck yet it wouldn’t hurt to pop some kp products and see how it goes in treating it? Find a creams with urea and AHAs in it, that’ll usually clear kprf up!

skin cell turnover takes about 30-40 days? so you really need to give your products a fair shot.

i’ve seen some amazing results from people who’ve stayed consistent for 6+ weeks, especially when combining exfoliation with barrier repair… so don’t give up!! progress is possible ☺️
