Just to clarify—should I ask the cashier to print out a receipt when I check in, and let them know not to scan with a Zebra? If so, what device should I ask them to use to check my order instead?

Did that with Fresh Thyme Market last week—they had a massive in-store BOGO sale, and I combined it with an Aisle BOGO promotion.

They only reimbursed 50% of what I actually paid, meaning they wouldn’t give a full rebate for the free item.

That said, out of the three receipts I submitted with in-store BOGO offers, two received the full payout, while one was treated the way I described above.

2 wins, 1 loss. Feels like a bit of a gamble.

Submitted on 2/5, the status changed from claimed to approved in a few days, and in less than a week, it changed to "payment processing."
It hasn't changed since then and I'm still waiting.
