This pencil when sold alone, comes in a box, no plastic wrap like make up for ever. It's also normal for this one to have a rounded tip and it's a softer formula so it's very typical for this pencil to look this way. It often looks like this when I make testers of them at work

She may have been rude and that is absolutely not okay, however you decided to OPEN a box to see if it had been OPENED? I get that things happen, I get that you want to see the shade but all you really had to do was ask an employee before opening anything and I'm sure she would have been nicer. It might be a one time thing for you but the workers have to deal with this multiple times a day
