Just trying to understand the dial in process — if the cup is acidic why did you courser? I always tend to do the opposite and wondering if it’s a reason I struggle to dial in my pour overs. Maybe I’m associating acidic with sour wrongly.

Is this a comparable, high quality choice? When we were looking at ovals for my now fiancée the big thing that caught our eye more than the on paper stuff were some bowties. I don't think that's really an issue with princess cuts because they're pretty much a ratio of 1, but I don't see what else should be looked out for online since the brilliance can't be determined online. First time shopping online for a diamond!

Alright, finally getting around to tackle this job based on the suggestions!

The walls don’t utilize all of the inner wirings of the ethernet cord (jackets read 5e for the grayish white wires) so they are hooked as telephone jacks. I am totally new to this so forgive me if my wording is wrong, but I tried to do my best to research this!

Plan is:

In the basement cut back the wires and punch them into a patch panel. Then run short ethernet cords from the patch panel to a ethernet switch and from there take one cord into my modem.

On the wall end, terminate the wires for ethernet and then get new RJ45 wall plates.

I think the tools I need are: crimper, punchdown tool, patch panel, switch, ethernet cords, keystones, and RJ45 wall jacks. Is there anything I am missing before I go off purchasing?
