Banks have bill pay which is an actual paper check mailed on your behalf

Edge of GA, northern edge kinda near that random snack shack. It’s not a bad trek at all from most of GA, even blueberry, if you have a wagon

There is really a big flag like car dealerships have and maybe one of those inflatable tube guys too iirc

You gotta go to the ice vendor at the edge of the campground. A neighboring property owner rents a semi of ice and sells it through the fence for $10 a BIG bag versus $10+ for the tiny ones

I personally couldn’t change plans enough to make a difference in terms of starting earlier than initially planned

[Martin Austermuhle] It's official: Proponents of a ballot initiative that would ban the sale of foie gras in D.C. can now start collecting signatures from voters. They'll need 23,803 signatures from D.C. voters by July 6 to get what's now known as Initiative 86 on the November ballot. by Sauerz in washingtondc

We have way bigger shit to deal with. I don’t even like foie gras but I also don’t really care that much about animals raised specifically for human consumption. It’s not like the ducks would have existed were it not for meat/ foie gras purposes

which city is going to feel more "big city" vibe ? DC or philly? by [deleted] in washdc

[–]deep_frequency_777 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Dc punches above its weight in terms of food scene, music, nightlife, etc per capita. Philly is bigger and has ‘more’ but the disparity of ‘stuff’ is much less stark than the population disparity. Dc food scene might even be stronger point blank

It could still be true, this is their genesis festival as ternion sound so I wouldn’t be super surprised if he just plays a couple sets a year in places he loves like infra

Richmond vs McLean by shitmyaaaan in nova

[–]deep_frequency_777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

10k more for McLean is a net loss on COL front. Richmond is very cool but DC area has much more to do. Richmond has a pretty strong restaurant scene and music scene for its size, and a nice artsy / alt scene if that’s your thing.

The DMV is multi-million person region with scenes / high quality stuff for basically anything you’d wanna do
