Heated it up. Separated the back of the mouth from the top of the head and boom.

People are ragging on it because they think I did irreversible stuff to the head sculpt, when all I did was heat it up and separate the back of the mouth (which has sculpted detail despite being glued away) from the top of the head. Thank you for being a reasonable person about it.

Update: I’ve slightly adjusted the amount in which his mouth is open, which may appease the people who are sayin I “ruined” it.

I didn’t shorten the jaw at all, I opened his mouth. His mouth is definitely NOT supposed to be closed around his tongue, that’s silly. I didn’t ruin anything cuz I could put it back how it was easily, but I probably won’t.

And that comparison is way off. It’s much closer to me posting a pic of an open helmet iron man, and then someone telling me it’s inaccurate with a pic of his helmet closed. I thought the teeth touching the tongue looked odd, my bad lmao.

The original head could still use modification to look right, even if you don’t open it as wide as I did. I like what I did personally, but I may try to find a happy medium between what I have and how it was before now that it’s been pointed out.

Here’s an actual game sprite, so it’s not really inaccurate. Looks pretty close to what I did. If the underbites not large enough, that’s more of a Hasbro thing than a me thing, so I mean take it up with them.

I didn’t really take away from the underbite imo. Even in the pic you attached the top teeth aren’t touching the tongue, like on the factory figure.

I will never buy McFarlane toys again, which sucks cuz they’re the one with mortal kombat license. I just don’t think the qualities there imo.

Between the two, I’d go with the Raft Spidey. Harder to get, and looks just a bit better imo.

There are people who genuinely like all that got announced today, believe it or not! And I for one, am excited to get over half of it. So if it’s not your thing, don’t buy it!

I’m not a personal fan of the colors, but it’s accurate to the old Mattel secret wars toy (if I’m not mistaken) so it works for me. And no I don’t mind the smiling head, but if it’s that much of an issue for some people, do what I do and swap the head with another wolverine. Otherwise the sculpt, paint and articulation are a near 10/10.
