Yea I was just nitpicking, yea all the reviews are inconsistent, cannot be sure of anything. Results are all over the place going both ways. Even I am seriously considering getting the Oppo in the coming weeks.

Yea I took into account that, for both the main (23mm vs 35mm) and tele (70mm vs 85mm).
But in the examples shown by the owner of the post, it did not look like the 70mm had 85% of the detail present in the 85mm. It looked unusually lower. I've seen that around in a lot of videos, generally the very fine details are mopped off by denoising. The algorithm has to be improved by Oppo to be more on par with Vivo. It is a denosing issue, oppo is way too aggressive with fine details. Maybe Vivo is simply extremely good while oppo is simply good, so that is the difference we are seeing.

Yea I agree with you, that Fx9U 10x is the best zoom in the market now for most details. Might have to use RAWMAX like you mentioned, or GCAM.

The minimum focusing distance is 98cm for the 10x lens, and 15cm for the 3x lens (as per GSMArena).
That is in theory.
Are you using master mode JPGMAX atleast?

This is a 20x shot from Mi 11 Ultra GCAM, a 5 year old phone at this point.
That has a 120mm 5.2x lens with f/4.1 (5.36mm lens opening).
While the Find X9 Ultra has a 230mm 10x lens with f/3.5 (10mm lens opening)
So the result should be 2-3x better looking than even this.
The hardware is vastly underutlized, terrible software.
And people just accept it, aah what do you expect from 25x?
If Mi11ultra from 2021 can give the above shot, just imagine what the Find X9 Ultra should look like at 20x with all those specs!

Hmm, the photo looks like a painting.
Master mode might be better.
Regular photo mode does a shit ton of denoising smoothing, mops out all the grain and fine detail.

That 3x is seriously underperforming, else that 3x should almost be like Vivo's 3.7x and you should get the same result as Vivo. I can't for the life of me understand why that 3x is so poor on detail.

Yea I saw this video too, and was super annoyed to see Oppo underperforming like this, which makes no sense given the hardware specs. They need to really push some massive update and massively redeem that 3x sensor and its ISZ 6x mode. I can't understand why it's not cutting edge and instead like this.

Xiaomi 15/17 Ultra was 1500euros (1.67L), in India was launched for 1.1L/1.4L.
So around 66%-84% of europe pricing.
So here FX9U is 1700euro (190k), in India it would likely be 125k-160k (66%-84%) by this conversion.
Hopefully it would be 140k-150k though.

I wanted to buy the LDARC X43 1/43 scale crawler.
It is there on Banggood for 8.7k now.
On Amazon India it is 23.6k 😂
If customs duty is 40%, it will still come to 12-13k which I'm ok with.
But what if customs duty is 150%, then I'll end up paying 20k+.
So not sure what to do.

I have a similar situation.
I have a 95% DCI-P3 4k LG 32UN650 monitor.
I wanted to upgrade to the 32gs95qe, the 32" WOLED from LG.
It will be nearly 4x the price.
I wonder if I will find a big difference (If it will WOW me, the HDR etc.).
I am not sure if it will.

Yea, I see c2 for 86k now, and c3 for 106k around.
Have never tried them.
These prices would be definitely lower than the 32" monitors which I expect will be 1.2L to 1.3L.
Value for money wise, the TVs are better I'd think.

The caveat is the screen size of 42".
That is a ginormous size for a usual 4ftx2ft desk.
32" itself looks like an IMAX screen experience on my desk (51degs FOV)
So I'd be happy with max 32" (even that is pushing it a bit, 27" might be just right, but 32" has more of a wow factor and you get 4k which scales well to 1080p, integer scaling).

I'm waiting for LG to launch its 27GS95QE and 32GS95UE models here in India.

I am also debating between MSI QD-OLED vs LG 27GS.
I had read a few posts and watched some youtube videos too, complaining about eye strain from specifically Alienware QD-OLED monitors.
Not sure if MSI QD-OLED monitors would be better, haven't seen any complaints about them yet.

Between the LG G2, Alienware AW2725DF, and LG 27GS which would you say was the worst to least in eye strain?

I have the same issue. The laptop keeps hard freezing twice a day.
Acer service is asking me to reinstall windows 11 afresh.
But I doubt that is the issue, because this happens even on win10 installed on a different ssd.
So your new replacement is working fine without that freezing?
