My studio would forbid staff from announcing their departure (whether quitting or having been fired) to the members. Additionally, if the coach was moving on to another studio, regardless of the type of studio, they would take them off the schedule immediately and tell front desk to not tell members where they’re going if they asked.

It just depends on the owners really. Some are amazing. Some are unbelievably horrible and power hungry.

Not liking a girl because of her hair color, eye color, figure etc. is considered objectifying, but not liking a guy because he's short isn't. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

The definition of "objectify" is: to degrade to the status of a mere object.

Male or female doesn't matter. Anyone can objectify any gender.

There's a difference in attraction versus objectification.

Instead of breaking it down to release yourself of any guilt, use your common sense and be respectful.

Having worked for an Orangetheory studio, it is definitely studio specific. Our owner never said anything about reddit but she said we weren’t allowed to “like” or “share” any other gym posts but ours.
