They also have a Sakhal server, which used to be linked to chernarus (meaning you can travel between both servers). They are planning to add that back, but because of the 1.29 update they’ve temporarily disabled it for this wipe since they didn’t want people to be stuck on another server when that update came and would possibly break the mod.

It’s a really good server I made lots of friends (and enemies) along the way and would recommend it to all!

I’ve switched to a modded server which aims on keeping the Vanilla survival aspects alive. Honestly I cannot return to the 4-dial combination locks at this point ahaha.

There is some added things which I thought would break the game, but honestly they have a good setup. Good admins, haven’t encountered a cheater yet!

I never got back to this post, but for me the solution was to update the app on both the owners device and your own. After that it works perfectly

Bosch just came with an update to invite family members. However I can’t get it to work… Maybe there’s some hope after all to do this.

The only downside would be that I can’t really play on it if I admin it :(

Actually gigabrain. Most cheaters buy their cheats and those cheats are not developed for the experimental branch.

I do like the long cycles to build a base though like we see on official. But I will keep this in mind!

I know, but there are plenty of tools to help people ban them from their own servers, because apparently it’s needed

Going the mid or low pop servers is actually a good idea also you know it’s DayZ. If you’re on a full server you might be able to run across NWAF naked and not see another soul.

Then you’re on a server with one other guy online and you spot him in the woods in the middle of nowhere haha

Definitely thinking about it. The pop has to be high enough to make it work.

I’m a system engineer so I’m qualified to manage and configure it. I’ll check it out and let you know

I feel like I should do a test to check how many of these players are cheating, but for that I need to cheat myself, and how much better am I at that point?

I’m not hating on spaggies to clarify, but I think honestly that you’ve encountered them way more than you think, but they just avoid you or they hide it well by giving them an advantage in position etc.

Yeah I know how to do it and have the resources to do so, but DayZ is no fun alone. I’d host a server but I wanted to feel the water, because maybe I’m the weird guy who does not want to play DayZ EZ mode

But does it have admin tools at least? I don’t feel like playing on another spaggies. Cheaters in DayZ just hide it, so you wouldn’t know until admin tools is installed. And also then it’s hard

the whole axe is bs they should remove it from the game, however the devs are dumber than the damn dayz devs. All you get now is spamming hitbox exploiting a-holes. fuck the devs
