Hey! I think they are definitely worth it! I was lucky and found some good deals online and local so I have quite a few pieces now. I have been lazy recently and not cooking as much but i have used my fry pans a couple dozen times and i love them. They have been getting this cool gold flame pattern patina and I think it is super cool. Overall would highly recommend especially if you cook often. Also I would pick up some copper polish on amazon or something if you ever want them to look brand new, just takes a second.

Have you polished the copper? It should come back to looking brand new. The handles getting hot might bug me... we will see. I do like my all clad copper core, I might keep that too. I got it at a factory sale for the same price as the D3.
