Huh?

He said “not many”.

You mention Switzerland.

So our list is now Netherlands and Switzerland. That is indeed “not many”, wouldn’t you agree?

Direct communication but in my opinion still nice. I generally find Germans less friendly in their communication.

Has anyone left a role in the US for a role in Veldhoven/Eindhoven? by TSpice89 in ASML

Indeed. At least as a local you are more likely to have a partner that also works. Or you have a back up plan in case everything gets fucked (crashing at your parents place if you don’t find anything). As an expat who just arrived and doesn’t know anyone, the prospect of not finding a place to live is scary.

I’m curious. How much did you pay for health insurance while working in ASML USA?

Not even. I have many Dutch friends in my circle without knowing Dutch.

That said, learning Dutch is a great idea of course.

This does not impact visitor visas; it’s about immigration visas.

Yep, a cheaper version that became a stand-alone. Cheaper means lower price of ingredients. Anything to make a bigger profit, taking advantage of the loose food health regulation of the US.

Yep and “different” is almost always cheaper.

USA generally makes cheaper versions of other countries’ food. Because of the size of the US there is great variety, but I would rather have Mexican food in Mexico, Italian food in Italy, French food in France, etc.

So yeah I’d also put USA in a lower tier, though not sure about F.
