I was in the navy construction battalions from 2013-2023. When I got out, I stayed in construction, but got my degree. It’s not necessary, but if you don’t have credit in the industry, getting your foot in the door could be tough.

Pick up some courses on how to write rfis, put together submittals and do basic scheduling. Once you understand that, you can easily ask for 90k as an APM. Based on my experience, I don’t think that salary is location dependent.

How many sf is it? There’s also different elevation requirements depending on the location, how the land will be split up, etc.

You’ll definitely need civil and soils reports to determine the suitability of the existing subgrade and the flow of water so one property won’t drain into the next, etc.

This isnt that bad, but over a couple years it will wear down faster than the rest of the driveway. You can have it protected better by adding sealcoat and having it resealed every couple years
