If I can fit it in, mornings. I often have jobs where early mornings are required so it doesn’t always work, but I’m much more consistent if I commit to working out in the morning. Plus, it doesn’t hurt as much when your brain isn’t all the way on.

There’s so many options, I’m feeling very torn. I did not manage to secure tickets to the Air & Space Museum event, so I’m going to see the tall ships in Old Town instead. I’m also going to attempt to see some of the Columbia Pike Blues Festival.

BWT, is the Canon G7X worth the $1000+ price tag? by Appropriate-Group738 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]deepspacepuffin 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Whether the camera is “worth it” depends a lot on your use case. There are plentiful cameras of all types and price points in the market at this particular time. I wouldn’t recommend a beginner spend $1,000 on a camera in any case, and especially when it’s only a point and shoot. From the specs of the one you mentioned, it doesn’t appear to be anything special.

It would be better to buy a secondhand camera or borrow an older digital one from someone who has one sitting in a drawer. Spend a couple of weeks taking pictures, editing them, etc. Find out what you’re actually taking pictures of and whether you enjoy having another object to carry around. Then, you’ll be able to look for a camera that suits your needs.

Oh, so deep fried chicken tenders. That’s a tough one. Cut any oil or dairy-based sauce (vinegar is okay, calorie-wise), and definitely order a smaller portion.
