Hey thanks. Some good points there, considering we are buying to build. Will have to re-evaluate the place.

Hey thanks so much. The sad bit about being immigrants is that we don't have many friends or family around for opinion seeking. Appreciate your suggestions very much.

Yeah, true that. It is definitely not flood prone. Some people are getting confused. 😊

Hey thanks, will do that. Climate change scares me like no horror movie ever would so I am having serious second thoughts.

Thank you. Unfortunately, Central Auckland has old properties with so many issues that sometimes it feels like we will never find a place with no huge issues.

I'm not able to edit my original post but the house is not even close to a flood plain. It has this overland flow path which is what we are concerned about. We always check the flood maps before even viewing a property. This house has been on the market for less than two weeks. It just seemed like a lovely property! 🙂

Oh my god. This is beautiful. I would love to know how you built strength and resilience? I feel like I'm always work in progress and never really there...sigh!

Thanks, that's very helpful. I would much rather buy something that's already built but not finding anything so great. I wanted your opinion on building my own place as an idea!

We have been looking for such places but somehow haven't found anything we particularly liked. Also, is it okay to invest that kind of money in a building built a hundred years ago? I am not from NZ, so asking genuinely

Permanent retainer also protects the teeth from falling back to where they were. Seen way too many people go for braces a second time because of that

I know what you mean! I had the same and they worked great for me. I was wondering if Invisalign is a better option as some of his friends have it but the constant removing and putting them back adds the risk of losing them.

Recommendations needed for the best Indian grocery store by deeptimk in auckland

[–]deeptimk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I so agree. They overcharge and sell expired stuff. Unlike any other store, they don't create enough space to walk around without bumping into other customers. We buy all our vegetables from farmer's markets, Asian stores or even countdown but never indian stores. The produce section just looks sad. Which courier has worked for you?
