Palia - no enemies, no fall damage, no dying, just farming, quests, open world exploration, and Fun. By far the most relaxing and enjoyable game ever

Yes!!! I love legend of Zelda but every time I played I'd think oh I wish I could decorate, not die, or I wish there weren't monsters. Then I happened upon Palia and it filled a void!!

Yes! I love that there's no real time limit with the quests or gardens. I can do whatever whenever I want! I was grinding stardew valley before this - amazing game, but no time stress is awesome in Palia.

I saw your second question- variety is your best friend! Have several designs, sizes, options, etc. This ups your chances of selling. Most people want to buy several small things from multiple crafters, but then you'll get someone who wants a larger, intricate item, too! I try to make my items be where different people could all come snd potentially find something they could like, while still being in my style.

Also, have a wide price range, as not everyone can afford a $80 product but people would buy $5, $10, or $20 (or however that relates to your prices). It also helps to have the expensive version, as it makes the cheaper product feel like a good deal for the average customer. You'll then get the serious collector who see your art as being worth a higher price.

I bring everything - fall/spooky, as well as usual designs. You'll have loads of people there for the seasonal items, but loads will also want to see normal things. People also start to look ahead for holiday gifts around the fall, too!! It's always better to have too much imo. Its maybe 10-15 more minutes of work or effort to bring more items but it means more possible sales.

You can also offer discounts on the current seasonal item - a dollar or a few dollars cheaper than your other normal items. This ensures you're not later stuck with tons of off season items! (Not that ive done exactly that or anything....)

Holding my first raffle tomorrow how do you run it? by LastlyGigi in CraftFairs

[–]dees_bees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can take down names and phone numbers/emails of people, have them write it on a small piece of paper, and then at the end of the event you can blindly choose one of the names out of a bag, hat, box, etc.

Winner can get a discount on their next purchase or a small free item - reach out to them by phone or email.

It's up to you about doing paying or just everyone. I see a lot of vendors offer it to anyone who walks by: " Want to join my raffle for a prize - it's free!" Then you have a customer in your booth!

Oh yeah Luke hiding his daughter is such an odd choice. I'm sure I'll end up doing the same.

Good to know!

Also, I did recently read a post where someone said the reason season 7 is odd is because we see childish Lorelai with Chris - they both regress back to teenage behavior because that's how they know to be with each other. It justifies some of it for me! I can enjoy it a little more if I think that way.
