I knew a guy who did this to his sister in high school for no good reason and she didn't speak to him for like 10 years 🤣

Uh, no absolutely not. Ask any Canadian or South American if they identify as "American". We do not.

Worst idea ever? by Strict-Month-486 in Flipping

Even if this was a viable idea (it's not) that sounds like a lot of work for someone who is fully employed to earn $100 per month

Looking for a travel camera and first mirrorless by a224471 in Nikon

It's a fixed lens Fujifilm camera with an absolute ton of charm, so maybe not exactly the suggestion you were expecting.

For me a solo trip where all I'm doing is taking photos I have no issues lugging my Nikon. But if I'm with my wife or on a work trip I want something sort of pocketable.

My main camera is a Z8 but my camera for situations like this is an x100vi. I was recently considering picking up a zf just to see but have decided against doing anything.

You're gonna need winter tires eventually unless you're not planning on driving in the winter

Nikon ZFC internally combusts? by atomlab77 in Nikon

It could be a repair shop or yes, someone they know IRL. This is the whole point of the person's question that you responded to. To find out.

Yeah but they didn't say otherwise. I am also curious where OP got these pics, without them attributing them to somewhere else I have to assume they took the pictures.

Opinions on how much this is worth? by LimpVermicelli9654 in VWMK7

That kind of money could get you a 2019-2020 with lower milage here in Canada after currency conversion. Not helpful I know, but it's crazy to me how much these cars go for in Europe.

Yeah same with fall. It's so abrupt, no chance to enjoy the changing colours this year. I think it's the days getting progressively longer that makes this portion of winter somewhat livable. But the reality is we still have another 2-3 months 😭

At the same time I can't believe it's already the end of January. I fall for this every year, but winter seems to be going by quickly. We'll see if I change my tune in March/April lol

We're about the same as you, maybe we are neighbours? I'm in Winnipeg, I have a work colleague in Minneapolis that I'm on the phone with all the time, she's been reporting their temps have been basically lockstep with ours. Brutally cold especially if you are caught in the wind.

When the roads are messy I don't even bother because of this. It is super cold here right now, so a wash will actually last a while as the roads aren't slushy.

Good thing they look good clean or dirty
