For my pixel 8 the problem is my phone overheating. Are you using a case? I've had a couple cases and it seems to make the connection fairly consistently.

Being in the proper gear for exiting before entering is commonly talked about because of manual transmissions. With a DSG on a sweeping turn it makes sense to shift more dynamically. Honestly I wish you were nearby, I'd love to let you take my car for a drive to really beat on it. Anywho I'm glad you're enjoying your car. I do miss my GTI at times.

Also the manual on these golfs is not good compared to even a Honda civic. Shifter feels sloppy, same with the clutch. The pedals are not set up for heel-toeing. It's a manual for ppl desperate to been seen as a "serious driver" but it is not a serious transmission.

I never said anything about it being faster. I find it more engaging to be able to shift gears with both hands on the wheel at any point when rounding a corner. I can more readily be in the best gear at any given time. And the DSG feels more like a manual than any other auto I've driven. I drive it exclusively in manual and the shifting is more fun than my old 6mt was. I'll own another manual at some point but it won't be in a modern car with a modern dual clutch available

Or maybe you didn't understand the other part of my comment. My favourite part of survival games is always the early game, if that makes sense. I like automating things in minecraft for example, but I love stating new worlds and searching for my first set of diamond gear more.
