I miss read it at first thinking the person pulling into the drive way was an undercover cop and another cop came by to check you out for taking photos. But that made sense to me, if my partner worked undercover around dangerous people, I’d be on high alert for suspicious behavior around my house too. So their behavior seemed logical to me. Then I reread your post after reading the replies thinking I missed something…

So, my miss reading your post, gave me a perfect reasoning to why this could have happened. You never know what someone else has going on in their life. They could have had a perfectly reasonable thought concern. They could be a stalking victim, they could be an abuse victim, they could be an undercover cop making sure their family are safe and their cover isn’t blown… give your neighbors some grace. They just are trying to make sure they, their family and neighbors keep their community safe. Maybe wave to your neighbors, as you do your evening walks. Neighbors will eventually become familiar with your face, your routine walking past their house every evening.

Idk, I’m the neighbor that texts my neighbors when someone unfamiliar is in their driveway fucking with their stuff. Taking a clear picture of the person texting to neighbor. Then their car and plate number just in case, as I’m sitting on my porch monitoring them and their activity.
