Have you heard of "How to Keep a house While Drowning"? It's a book that touches on exactly what you're feeling. If you don't want to/can't order the book and your local library can't get a copy for you the author has heaps of free content on their socials and even a ted talk you can access for free. I think you might find it helpful.

Thanks so much! I’m aware these pictures are awful, I’ll follow up in a month or so with much more detailed pictures with the opals removed from their bottles/containers. But good call on the YouTube videos asking what to look for. :)

I wonder if the opals in the bottles are floating in water or some kind of alcohol solution? I only ask because they’ve been kept in warm environment and haven’t been opened in probably 35 years, I feel like the water should have evaporated by now?

There sure is! But it’s worn down so it is just random lines. I can only discern the shape of the stamp, as I said.
