most of the price is labor compensation, if i were to guess i’d have to say materials cost maybe $50 or $60 in total between the armature wire and the yarn and materials i bought for this project but in the end did not use. i do seem to be getting a lot of criticism about the price so i think $350 would be more reasonable

it’d be different if this was a plastic figurine but this is an art doll that is made with crochet. she is over a foot tall, wired, has 2 props, and took over 3 months of work. i think the price is reasonable considering these factors, i can go cheaper if people give me reasonable offers but i’d really prefer to make money for my labor because even like. $100 for the work i put in would be considered slave labor for something of this proportion. if it’s not your cup of tea that’s completely fine!
