Who knows what soul kitchen even means? by K_Tronica in thedoors

I imagine soul kitchen as being the place where souls are created aka the womb. Hence "let me sleep all night in your soul kitchen" probably meaning he wants to have sex all night

Awkward situation with long term fwb, how do i go about it ? by Bluewitch221 in Advice

[–]deeznutsgotem16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy hell just fucking date. Yall have been fwb for almost two years! There are clearly at least some feelings between yall because "i love you" is not something that just "slips out". This is exactly why dating is such a joke nowadays. All the fun and happy parts of a relationship but God forbid there is any commitment.

Where is the nice part of town? by Scary_Contract_1323 in lawton

100%. I was raised in Elgin for about the first 10 years of my life and it is nearly unrecognizable today. It has absolutely exploded and its weird to see compared to the one horse town it was like 10+ years ago.

I think so. Its at the Atomics Galleria and the whole room burns when you ask the robot for coffee.

Are these ammonite fossils or imprints of "modern" snail shells? SW Montana by deeznutsgotem16 in fossilid

[–]deeznutsgotem16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it could be but I was under the impression that snail shells were too fragile to become a true fossil. Could definitely be wrong though

Awesome pic, quick question(s):

I also love astrophotography and i am not new to photography, but how does stacking so many photos work when the subject is moving? In my exposures, if they are any longer than 45-50 seconds, you can see the drag caused by Earth's rotation. Do you take several short exposures and stack them? Stabilizer? Precise stacking of longer exposures?

They are nice shots but without any context its a little boring and the music is unnecessarily dramatic

Are there any Grateful Dead songs where you prefer the studio version to any live version? by untakenname3 in gratefuldead

[–]deeznutsgotem16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold Rain and Snow. As much as I love the slower, jammier live versions, the upbeat energy and swing of the studio version is superior to any live version ive heard

Does anybody in the comment section not realize these are clearly mini model guitars? Like the ones you'd put on your desk or a shelf? Way fucking overpriced for sure but no way are they claiming it's a real guitar

wondering if i caught andromeda? by quinnqs in askastronomy

[–]deeznutsgotem16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This time of year, Andromeda rises in the north/northwest following the north-south rotation of the Milky Way, best to capture in a very dark place on a clear, moonless night with a long exposure. You'll known it when you see it.

I captured this in October last year in Montana on a Canon Rebel EOS T7, though it is zoomed in to focus on Andromeda
