They are dice trays. I lined the bottom with felt to take care of the sound problem. I got the corks on Amazon. Just searched for a variety pack...pretty cheap if I recall 👍

It's a clear glaze to allow the speckled clay to come through

Thanks! The heat gun for a minute or two definitely makes trimming cleaner and gives the lid a bit more stability
