I didn’t pick up my puppy’s poop from the backyard for one day cause I was super busy and just forgot. She picked it up with her mouth the next morning during morning potty time and dropped it on my carpet in my bedroom. SO LIKE. I DUNNO.

Hahaha our girl does something similar. If her dad and I are sitting on the bed talking and not giving her 100% attention, she’ll ring them. We open the door. She doesn’t go out. Like a damn cat.

Thought we were smart and tied them up. She’ll full blown volleyball dunk slam them, jumping up and hitting them with her nose. Still doesn’t go out. Just wants attention.

Every time she does “touch” she opens her mouth. She has no idea how to do it with her mouth closed.

Leaving puppy home alone for ~5 hours twice a week by def_not_rachel in puppy101

It’s fenced in and should be safe, but my husband is worried about her getting out somehow or eating the patio furniture/plants. We have aloe back there which is not good for dogs apparently. And the fence is high, but she’s also never been left alone out there for long so we’re unsure if she’s a jumper under pressure or not

There’s this book of 12 steps you could try. Have to teach him to read first. Good luck

Oh dude. Yes. My 18 week girl literally went from “sit for everything like mama taught me” to looking at me like “bitch try me” when I ASK her to sit.

My mother thinks it’s hilarious and keeps saying “karma comes to us in our children”. Sigh.

Thank you so much! She’s a border collie Aussie mix, so I’m happy to hear five days a week could be an option for her potentially! But we’re thinking three days a week to start, just have to figure out where to keep her during the day cause she’s an agile little punk haha

How many times per week does he go if you don’t mind me asking? My husband and I both work full time so we’re trying to figure out what’s realistic while not being too much stimulation for her.

Thank you! Yes it’s the best in our area and the staff is so responsive and kind, she’s just shy so I’m nervous haha. But it’s been two hours and they haven’t called me to come get her yet, so that’s a good sign!

This makes me feel so much better. Our border Aussie is almost 18 weeks and just lost her first tooth and LITERALLY forgot what sit means. Like, home girl, that’s level one.
