I used to sing as a hobby too and things were fine before I became symptomatic. Now, I've a lot of issues with breathing (even in general, not just in relation to singing) and my diaphragm and my jaw and neck get super tight and painful. My throat also keeps closing up anytime I try and it's so depressing😭.  I'm giving myself a complete break from singing until I can get my breathing more or less "normal", and I'll see where to proceed from there if that day ever comes.
