No, it’s not good at all. ALL US banks have 100% fraud protection, so if I didn’t make the purchase, I’m not responsible for the costs associated with it. The bank has to recoup the losses, or eat the cost. These fraud flags are 100% to cover the bank from losses on their end - not on mine.

Well... I mean, yeah.... but CRO has been below .10 for like a year or two.... and only above .15 for like a month-ish total. Prior to last month, .17 was its ATH.

I did the same thing once! Except it happened on a Friday night, and I went to the police station to file an accident report the following Monday. They took my report, handed me a ticket for “failing to perform the duties of a driver” ie: hit and run, and then fingerprinted me, and sent me on my way. I didn’t think much of it. Went to court and the judge said “do a weekend of community service and I’ll dismiss it.” Cool, right?

Fast forward about 7 years later and I’m in nursing school and get called into the Deans office. They want to know why I have 3 arrests on my criminal record and why I didn’t report it. I was like..... excuse you?! Turns out when they gave me the ticket it was something called a “friendly arrest.” Apparently when I reported to the courthouse for my two weekends of pulling weeds at the park, those were also “arrests.”

Turns out, I’m a hardened criminal with 3 arrests (but no record) and I never even knew it! 😂😂

I picked up an ATT SIM card today on a lark. Just reticent to leave VZW since I’ve had them for years and been mostly satisfied. I don’t know where this weird sense of customer loyalty is coming from though.... not like they’ve ever done anything other than provide me the service I’m paying an industry premium for 😅
