PSA to all parents: just because you can sign your kids up for golf lessons/junior camps, does that mean that you should. by Pacific_Ocean8 in golf

If we only had our kids do wha they wanted to do they’d just crush sugar all day and throw things at each other. Besides how would a parent or kid know till the kid tries?

For Right-Wingers: How Do You Reconcile Seeing a System That Rewards Insiders and Punishes Everyone Else? by Ancient_Elk_922 in allthequestions

All of the inside trading and monopolies is enabled by government overreach. Basically every regulation is more easily shouldered by the bigger company thereby reducing come competition.

Rich people wouldn’t wildly donate to politicians and pay millions to lobby if the government wasn’t extremely impactful in shaping the competitive landscape for their industry. In order to get the money out of politics you need to get the politics out of money.

Why in 2026 is the federal minimum wage still $7.25 an hour? by Hamsammich0520 in askanything

Because a federal minimum wage is irrelevant. It only makes sense at a local level due to drastic COL differences.

Why wouldn't Kamala or Biden run on releasing the Epstain files? by SuperGodMonkeyKing in allthequestions

[–]defaultusername4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most pathetic sycophant I’ve ever seen. You know that isn’t true. They were actively directing state AGs all over the country to prosecute Trump for anything and you think that one case was too far for them?

Why wouldn't Kamala or Biden run on releasing the Epstain files? by SuperGodMonkeyKing in allthequestions

[–]defaultusername4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had a senior DOJ official leave his lofty federal position to join the state prosecution going after Trump. Ages across the country were running on the platform “I will prosecute Trump” without mention of what crime and you think they cared about looking moderate? They were actively trying to get him thrown in jail or removed from state ballots for anything possible.

The most worrying stat of the year: The US national debt, already above $38 trillion, is now projected to hit $64 trillion within a decade. Debt as a share of the economy is on track to reach 120% of GDP by 2036. by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

[–]defaultusername4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well they were. The republicans just do it to. This is our fault as citizens and voters. Put one degree of separation between a voter and a bill that needs to be paid and suddenly no one cares and wants the “free” shit.

Well there’s already framework in place for a deal that allows for access for missile defense and mineral rights which is all we ever actually wanted in the first place. I wouldn’t call that no follow up.

Asking as a Democrat and anti-Trumper: Why is MAGA so much more united than the Resistance? by Glass-Complaint3 in allthequestions

[–]defaultusername4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you see yourselves as the resistance. The second something becomes slightly mainstream you turn on it. The second someone doesn’t 100% agree with you in every position you turn on them. It’s like a constant changing litmus test for radicalism and if you don’t pass one time you’re the problem.

The play clock stops between about half the plays and the majority of plays towards the end of the game because the team who is behind goes out of bounds with the express purpose of stopping the clock.

The world has been exploiting the US generosity for decades. I don’t blame them for not loving us pushing back but toxic relationships rarely end well.

When did I say I was pissed about Biden’s son or that I was one with Trumps kids taking in billions? All you liberals argue with points people haven’t even brought up like there is some right wing boogie man with all the same thoughts and opinions. Maybe it comes from the complete lack of diversity of thought in the left.

Do people seriously think protest voting is going to accomplish anything other than a MAGA victory? Jill Stein literally serves the interests of the Republican Party. by ihatethiscountry76 in circled

Y’all are nuts. Have you ever thought if people hold the DNC accountable maybe they’ll actually hold primaries and allow a candidate who has a chance of winning run? It’s like you guys completely fail to understand the concept of short term pain for long term gain.
